Edify Studios Inc, brings a fresh perspective and broad range of experiences to the Pacific Northwest - market awareness, influencer network, project type and product solutions. Our hyper-focused industry knowledge and tactical sales strategy has proven that it’s one thing to sell a product; it’s another to have done it successfully as measured with profitable growth and customer depth & retention.
The key to our success has been, and will be, to focus on 100% customer satisfaction, of which is achieved through three key tenants:
• Preparation • Collaboration • Consistency of processes
We recognize when any one of these three tenants are void, the stability of success is eliminated.
Preparation
“Proper preparation prevents poor performance!”
We achieve that preparation through a systemic sales process to bring a project opportunity to us, instead of us chasing it. We do it by focusing on the following:
People (Knowing the players): Being networked with the all of the project influencer’s – owner/owners
rep, GC, architect, consultant, subcontractor, adjacent influencing material manufactures.
Process (Knowing the game): From the pre-construction phase through the installation phase of
the projects, sales begin by evaluating which projects are a good fit for our vendor network capacity and bidding schedule. Once the decision is made to support a project, we begin identifying the following:
Project scope: Providing vendors adequate time to review and bid projects. Completing our own takeoffs strategy. As well as creating buy in from the aforementioned influencer team in order to ensure we are creating strategic and competitive solutions to succeed.
Product (Knowing what to play the game with): The code requirements, overall performance, project aesthetic, & owners goal is the real ‘product’ here; which is delivering that project efficiently every time.
So knowing how the envelope products translate into each of the influencer’s space is the key to winning. Product knowledge & education is the foundational platform we stand on to execute at a high level.
Collaboration
“I can do things you cannot; You can do things I cannot; Together we can do great things.”
Implementing empathetic collaboration has been extremely beneficial to the success of our projects. It is a key element in the Edify Studios sales process. We have learned to rely upon and apply the expertise, experiences and knowledge of others to ongoing projects. For example, we get third party buy in at the material takeoff level from key influencers between the subcontractor & manufacturer.
This assistance allows us to have more foresight in reviewing challenging transitions & details with the design team up the contract chain; which will simultaneously allow the vendor’s staff to manage the product strategy early, with less reactive measures taken. This results into & promotes the empathy needed to create a natural collaborative effort between the general contractor, the design team and us; to reduce risk & potential conflicts in the budget or design issues that could be caused later during/after construction.
Consistency
“Consistency isn’t rocket science, its commitment.”
We recognize that consistency within the sales processes for each project breeds strong motivation, which is critical to our educational/solutions based efforts. The three areas that we focus to create consistency are:
Autonomy: The desire to be self-directed increases engagement over compliance.
Mastery: The urge to get better skills in each respective specialty.
Purpose: The sense that what we do produces something transcendent or serves something meaningful beyond ourselves.
With the implementation of the latest technology tools of a paperless process and cloud-based technology, we keep the gaps between stakeholders minimal. Which allows for task management & responsibility of that said task to be owned. In turn creates a space & allowance for creativity to breed the three principles for the best results. This strategic methodology substantially increases the transparency and helps establish a proactive impression with our customers for the supporting vendors & brands.
